ROB SACKS: SERVICE, INTEGRITY, COMMITTMENT

Hello, I’m Robert B. Sacks Sr. I’m a former member of Chester Heights Borough Council, having served from January 2022 through December 2023. I’m currently the President of the Walnut Hill Utility, where I help lead efforts to modernize and maintain our local sewage treatment infrastructure.

I’ve been happily married to my best friend and biggest blessing—my wife, Phuoc Tran Sacks. Family is everything to me.

My career began in 1984 at SEPTA, where I worked as a bus driver in North and Northeast Philadelphia before transitioning to the Market-Frankford Line as a train operator—a role I held until my retirement in 2020. Over the years, I’ve also worked as a certified chauffeur, limousine company co-founder, and more recently, as a driver for local funeral homes and a Vietnamese restaurant. I currently work in the service department at David Dodge.

I’m a longtime member of Covenant Fellowship Church, where I serve as an usher. My wife and I live in Darlington Woods and are proud to call Chester Heights home. We are grateful for our top-rated schools, dedicated first responders, and strong public safety presence.

My career has always centered on service—and I would be honored to bring that same dedication back to Borough Council.
